[Join the waitlist](https://savepad.app/#waitlist) [All features](https://savepad.app/features) *Keycaps for command K, N, slash, G then U and question mark, next to the command palette* ### Everywhere Work from any screen, as long as you’re not typing in a box. - **Save something**: `N` - **Jump anywhere, or run a command**: `⌘K` - **Search**: `/` - **Paste anything to save it**: `⌘V` - **Hide or show the sidebar**: `[` - **See every shortcut**: `?` ### Go to Press G, let go, then the letter. - **Home**: `G``H` - **Unsorted**: `G``U` - **All saves**: `G``A` - **Favourites**: `G``F` - **The bin**: `G``B` - **Settings**: `G``S` ### In ⌘K Saves, spaces, folders, tags, saved views and actions, as you type. - **Move through the results**: `↑``↓` - **Open it, or run it**: `↵` - **Close**: `Esc` - **Close it again**: `⌘K` ### Your saves In the grid, the list and search results. - **Next save**: `J` - **Previous save**: `K` - **File it in a folder**: `E` - **Tag it**: `T` - **Select everything in between**: `⇧``click` - **Undo**: `⌘Z` ### Triage mode One save at a time, a folder on every number. - **File it into that folder**: `1–9` - **Add a tag**: `T` - **Skip to the next one**: `→` - **Go back**: `←` - **Undo the last move**: `⌘Z` - **Stop**: `Esc` ### Saving and tagging In the save box and the tag picker. - **Save it**: `⌘↵` - **Close without saving**: `Esc` - **Pick a tag, or make a new one**: `↵` - **Move through your tags**: `↑``↓` - **Take the last tag off**: `⌫` ### Stats and recipes The chart and cook mode step with arrows too. - **Step through the days or months**: `←``→` - **First or last**: `Home``End` - **Put the chart back**: `Esc` - **Recipe steps in cook mode**: `←``→` ## Triage is where the keys pay off. 400 saves in Unsorted, one on screen at a time. Press a number to file it, T to tag it, an arrow to skip. You won’t touch the mouse once. *Triage mode: one save on screen, four folders on number keys 1 to 4, a tag button, and keyboard hints along the bottom, 7 of 400* ## Built to WCAG 2.2 AA That's the accessibility standard the European Accessibility Act points to. Here's what it means in Savepad. - **Screen readers.** The grid, the folder tree, dialogs and every viewer have proper roles and labels. We test with VoiceOver and NVDA, and run axe in a real browser before anything ships. - **No mouse needed.** You can reach everything you can click with Tab, and you can always see where the focus is. Dialogs keep focus inside them and put it back where it was when they close. - **Reduced motion.** Savepad follows your computer’s reduced motion setting, and there’s a switch in Settings to turn motion off in Savepad only. Nothing autoplays. - **Contrast.** Text is at least 4.5:1 against its background, the small grey text included. - **Charts.** Every chart has a table with the same numbers under it, and the Stats chart reads each point out as you step through it with the arrow keys. - **⌘ or Ctrl.** Macs show ⌘, Windows and Linux show Ctrl, in the app and on this site. You don’t have to set anything. ## FAQs ### Can I change the shortcuts? Not yet. Most of them are the ones Gmail, Linear and GitHub use, so they might already be in your fingers. ### Do shortcuts fire while I’m typing? No. Letter shortcuts wait until you’re out of the text box, so typing a note never saves something by accident. ### Is Savepad accessible? It’s built to WCAG 2.2 AA and checked with a screen reader and axe before anything ships. Something doesn’t work for you? Tell us and it gets fixed. ### Do the shortcuts work on Windows? Yes. Everywhere this page says ⌘, use Ctrl.
