# Savepad for makers

Building something on your own? Then you're the marketer, the designer, the PM, and the dev, all in one. Launch posts, pricing pages, onboarding emails, the Stripe snippet, that Show HN thread? Savepad saves it all for you.

*Three saves in a Savepad library: the homepage of a small product on its launch day, an install command saved as a snippet, a founder update email about a launch*

## Where your stuff lives right now

Bookmarks, GitHub stars, a Notion page called ideas (v4) and 60 tabs of competitors you opened at 1am.

- X Bookmarks, 3,108
- Product Hunt Upvoted, 212
- GitHub Stars, 870
- Notion ideas (v4)
- Gmail Fwd: loved your launch

## What you probably save

## See it, save it, sort it

1. Paste a link, drop a screenshot, or forward an email to your Savepad address from your phone. *A competitor's pricing page saved with a full-page snapshot and its headline pulled out*
2. A folder per project, tags for what it is. Group a launch into one collection so it stays together. *A launch collection open as a board: the homepage hero, the launch email and the demo video*
3. Search reads pages, PDFs, emails, code and the text in screenshots. Filter by type, folder or tag. *A search for "retention cohort" matching a PDF, a note and a screenshot*

## The good bits

1. **Launching next week?** Pull every launch you liked into one collection: the Product Hunt page, the Show HN post, the thread and the email that went out that morning. Then steal the order they did it in.
2. **Watch what competitors change.** Save their pricing page and, on Pro, Savepad keeps a snapshot every month it changes. You find out they added a Team plan before their customers do.
3. **Feedback you can find again.** Screenshot the DM, forward the support email, paste the Reddit comment. Savepad reads the text in all of it, so "export to CSV" finds every person who asked.
4. **Hiring a designer for a week?** Send them your Homepage v2 folder as a private link, with a password and an expiry if you like. They get every reference you saved and don't need an account.
