# Savepad for product managers

Onboarding flows, pricing pages, changelogs, the checkout that actually made you pay. You screenshot them for a PRD and then they're gone (it's always a sh*tty Google Doc). Savepad keeps the flow in order, keeps the page as it was, and finds all of it when the retro comes round.

*Three saves in a Savepad library: step two of an onboarding flow with a progress bar, a screenshot of an Instagram story from a coffee brand, a product changelog page*

## Where your research lives right now

A teardown doc from last quarter, a Loom nobody watched to the end, and a pinned Slack thread. The screenshots are in there somewhere. Good luck.

## What you probably save

## See it, save it, sort it

1. Go through their signup, screenshot each screen and drop them into one sequence. Or forward their emails straight to it. *A sequence being built: five onboarding screens from tidepool.app snapping into order with their step numbers*
2. A space for competitors, a folder for each one, and tags for patterns like paywalls. The same save can sit in both. *The sidebar with the Competitors space open on Tidepool, and a Paywalls tag filter across every competitor*
3. Search across every flow, page, PDF and screenshot, then step through the sequence. *The sequence viewer stepping through an onboarding run, day gaps shown on a timeline underneath*

## The good bits

1. **Save a flow as a flow.** A sequence keeps every screen of a signup in order. Step through it with the arrow keys in the review instead of scrolling a doc.
2. **Keep the page as it was.** Every page you save keeps a snapshot. When they change their pricing next quarter, you still have the old one. On Pro, page history checks every month for you.
3. **Search what it said.** Search reads the page, the PDF and the text in every screenshot. "Seats per user" finds the table, the email and the teardown.
4. **Bring your own AI.** Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Savepad over MCP and ask it for every onboarding flow you saved this year. Savepad itself never calls a model.
