# UTM builder

Build campaign links with presets you can reuse, or a whole CSV of them at once.

## How it works

Paste your link, fill in source, medium and campaign, and this UTM builder gives you a tracked link that your analytics can read. Save the settings as a preset for the next campaign, or tag a whole list of links at once and download them as a CSV.

Values get lower-cased and spaces become dashes, so "News Letter" and "newsletter" don’t end up as two sources in your reports.

## FAQs

### What are UTM parameters?

Tags added to the end of a link, like utm_source and utm_campaign, so tools like Google Analytics know where a visit came from.

### Which UTM parameters do I need?

Source, medium and campaign. Term and content are optional, for paid keywords and for telling two links in the same email apart.

### Should UTM values be lower case?

Yes. Analytics tools treat Email and email as two different things, so keep everything lower case.
