# Throw anything at it.

All 17 types of saves supported, and Savepad knows what each one is. An email opens like an email, a PDF opens on the page that matched, a font gets a type tester. No AI guessing, just plain old parsing.

## The swipe file classics

The stuff you've been screenshotting for years. Each one opens the way it looked when you saw it, and you can search the words inside all of them.

### Web pages

The live page, a reading copy, or your snapshot

Pages change. That landing page you liked in 2024 was redesigned 10 times already. Savepad takes a full-page snapshot the second you save, keeps a clean reading copy, and pulls out the SEO details you'd normally open dev tools for. Ad library links work too: paste one and you get the creative, the copy and the landing page. Behind a login? Screenshot it and drop it in, and the text becomes searchable.

### Images and screenshots

Zoom in, grab the colours, search the words

That camera roll full of billboard photos and 400 screenshots called Screenshot 2025-03-14 at 11.02.47? Savepad reads the text in every one of them, so searching "Run further. Hurt less." finds the ad. The colours come out as hex you can copy, and location data gets stripped when you save.

### Emails

Forward it in, it opens like an email

Every account gets its own email address. Forward that cart abandonment email from your phone and it opens the way it arrived, with the subject, preheader and sender. Savepad even works out which tool sent it. Trackers are removed on the way in, so opening it later never pings the sender.

*A cart abandonment email switching between desktop and 375px mobile width, with sender, preheader and ESP beside it*

### Sequences

Several saves in a specific order, kept as one

Nobody steals just ONE onboarding email. You want the whole flow: what goes out on day 0, when the push lands, how long they wait before "your trial ends Friday". A sequence keeps saves in order as one save, with the gaps and the channel for each step. Onboarding emails, a launch across ads and emails, a checkout flow, etc. Each sequence gets its own email address too, so a competitor's onboarding can forward itself in, one email at a time.

*The Lumen trial onboarding sequence: seven steps on a timeline from Day 0 to Day 14, with the Day 3 email open at mobile width underneath*

#### Gets in through

- Select saves and press S
- Forward to the sequence address
- Drag screenshots in, in order
- Turn a collection into one

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Steps**: 7

- **Span**: 14 days

- **Channels**: 5 email, 1 push, 1 in-app

- **Timing**: from sent dates

- **Brand**: lumen.app

#### When you open it

- Timeline with the gaps to scale
- Step through with ← →
- Each step in its own full preview
- A search hit says "Step 3 of 7"

### Collections

Saves that belong together, kept as one

A homepage hero isn't one thing. It's the screenshot, two code snippets for that scroll animation, the brand purple, the font and a note about why it works. A collection keeps all of it together as one save. Each piece is still a normal save too, so the snippet still shows up when you search for it on its own. Sequences are for things in order, collections are for things that go together.

*A "Homepage hero" collection open as a board: the hero screenshot, two code snippets, three brand colours, the font specimen and a note, grouped by type*

#### Gets in through

- Select saves and press C
- Drop saves onto a collection
- Paste straight into an open collection
- Turn a folder selection into one

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Members**: 9

- **Types**: image, code, colour, font, note

- **From**: 4 sites

#### When you open it

- Opens as a board, grouped by type
- Copy buttons on code and colours
- Download the lot as a ZIP

### Video

Links that don't load YouTube until you press play

Save a YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or TikTok link and you get the frame, the title and the channel. The player stays asleep until you click it, so nothing tracks you while you scroll. On Lite and Pro you can upload your own videos too, with a scrub strip and frame-by-frame stepping for those six-second ads.

*A saved launch film with its poster frame, a click-to-play button and the scrub strip of stills underneath*

#### Gets in through

- Paste a link
- Email it from your phone
- Upload a file (Lite and Pro)

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Length**: 0:32

- **Channel**: Northwind

- Scrub strip of stills (uploads)

07 / 17

### Audio

Podcast ads, jingles, voice notes

A podcast ad read worth copying, a radio spot, the voice note you sent yourself about it on the train. Upload it or email the file in, and you get a waveform you can scrub through. No transcripts, because that would need AI, and Savepad doesn't use any.

*A podcast ad read saved as audio, with its waveform and a note underneath*

#### Gets in through

- Drag and drop
- Email attachment
- Spotify or SoundCloud link

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Length**: 0:58

- **Format**: MP3

- **From**: Email attachment

#### When you open it

08 / 17

### PDFs

Opens on the page that matched

Brand guidelines, the deck from the kickoff, a 40-page teardown someone sent you in 2023. Search for something and the PDF opens on the right page, highlighted. Scanned PDFs too, because OCR can be magic.

*Page 4 of a brand guidelines PDF with the phrase "limited edition" highlighted and the page thumbnails down the side*

#### Gets in through

- Drag and drop
- Email attachment
- Paste a link to the file

- **Match**: page 4

- **Author**: Brand team

- **Text**: searchable, OCR on 6 pages

#### When you open it

- Continuous scroll with page thumbnails
- Search inside the document
- Opens at the search hit

## Words, code and type

For anyone with a snippets folder and a fonts folder on their desktop that they swear they will sort out one day.

09 / 17

### Code

Snippets with the right coat of paint

Paste code snippets and mark their language to get the right syntax highlights. Links to gists and GitHub files work too. Savepad guesses the language from the code, and you can change it.

*A highlighted TypeScript snippet that debounces a search box, with a note above it and the copy button*

#### Gets in through

- Paste
- GitHub gist or file link
- Via the Savepad MCP

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Language**: TypeScript

- **Lines**: 9

- **Tags**: #search #frontend

#### When you open it

- Highlighting in light and dark
- Line numbers and wrap
- One-click copy
- Search hits marked word by word

10 / 17

### Notes

A proper editor, on everything you save

Every save gets a note. Why you kept it, what to steal, which client it's for. And a note can be a save of its own, with headings, checklists, tables, code blocks and links to other saves. It's also where the Ramen party menu goes.

*A note titled "Onboarding ideas to steal" with a checklist and three linked saves shown as small cards*

#### Gets in through

- New note
- Email it from your phone
- Via the Savepad MCP

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Words**: 412

- **Links to**: 3 saves

- **Edited**: 2 hours ago

#### When you open it

- Headings, lists, checklists, tables
- Links to other saves
- Searchable like everything else

11 / 17

### Documents and other files

CSVs as tables, Markdown rendered, everything else kept safe

CSVs open as a table. Markdown and text files open rendered. Word, PowerPoint and Excel files open as previews you can read and search. Anything else gets a file card, its size and a download button, and it's never run or opened on our side.

*A competitor pricing CSV shown as a sortable table next to a rendered Markdown brief*

#### Gets in through

- Drag and drop
- Email attachment

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Type**: CSV

- **Rows**: 1,204 (first 1,000 shown)

- **Size**: 188 KB

#### When you open it

- CSV table view
- Markdown and text rendered
- Office files as PDF previews

12 / 17

### Fonts

A specimen and a type tester

Drop in a TTF, OTF or WOFF2 and it opens as a specimen, with every style it has and a box to type your own headline in. Designers will get this one right away. Everyone else will wonder why nobody did it before.

*The Fraunces font saved as a specimen, with "For your next landing page" typed into the tester at 96px*

#### Gets in through

- Drag and drop
- Email attachment

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Axes**: wght, opsz, SOFT

#### When you open it

- Specimen sheet
- Type tester with size and weight
- Glyph grid

13 / 17

### Colours and palettes

Save a hex, then filter everything by it

Every image, page and video already gets its colours pulled out. A colour or a palette can be a save of its own too. Pick a swatch in the filter bar and every save with that colour in it shows up. Yes, including the red ads.

*A five-colour palette saved from a landing page, with every save that shares the purple listed underneath*

#### Gets in through

- Paste a hex
- Pick from any save

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Hex**: #7A4AFB

- **OKLCH**: 0.57 0.24 290

- **Used in**: 38 saves

#### When you open it

- Swatches with copyable values
- Every save that uses it

## Out in the real world

Not everything worth saving is on a screen. The billboard, the shop window, the trattoria with the great menu. Same library, same search.

14 / 17

### Places

A pin on the map rather than just the link

Send a maps link from your phone and it saves as a place, with the name, the city and the coordinates. A photo with a location can become one too, if you want (otherwise that data gets stripped). Any folder with places in it gets a map view.

*A map with a pin on Alexanderplatz and the saved billboard photo next to it*

#### Gets in through

- Google Maps link
- Apple Maps link
- OpenStreetMap link
- Photo location (opt in)
- Email it from your phone

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **City**: Berlin

- **Coordinates**: 52.5219, 13.4132

#### When you open it

- Open in Apple Maps or Google Maps
- Map view for the whole folder

15 / 17

### Routes

GPX and KML, drawn on the map

A store-visit loop, a Google My Maps export, the running route from that brand event. Drop the GPX or KML in and it's drawn on the map, with the distance and the climb worked out for you.

*A running route through Mitte drawn on a map, with distance and elevation beside it*

#### Gets in through

- Drag and drop
- Email attachment

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Distance**: 8.4 km

- **Climb**: 64 m

- **Points**: 1,380

#### When you open it

- Route on the map
- Distance and climb in km or miles
- Original file to download

16 / 17

### Recipes

Just the recipe, plus a cook mode

Planning Biryani night? Save the recipe page and you get the ingredients and the steps, without the life story. Cooking for eight instead of four? Scale it, and switch cups to grams while you're at it. Cook mode keeps your screen on. It's also a decent reference if you're designing a food brand's site. That's our excuse and we're sticking to it.

*A biryani recipe in cook mode with the ingredient list and step 3 highlighted*

#### Gets in through

- Paste a link
- Email it from your phone

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Serves**: 6

- **Time**: 1 h 40 min

- **Ingredients**: 19

#### When you open it

- Halve it or make it for 8
- Metric or cups, °C or °F
- Cook mode, screen stays on

17 / 17

### Products

The product, the price, the brand, the stock

Save a product page and you get the name, the brand, the price, the photos and whether it was in stock, the way it was the day you saved it. Handy for a competitor's launch pricing, packaging ideas, or the shoes you're definitely not buying.

*A running shoe product page saved as a product card: photo, name, brand, price, sizes and stock*

#### Gets in through

- Paste a link

#### What Savepad pulls out

- **Price**: €129 on 12 Sep

- **Brand**: Northwind

- **Stock**: in stock

#### When you open it

- Product card with photos
- Price and stock as you saved them
- Original page one tab away

## Every save gets

1. 01 **Search inside it.** Page text, PDF text, email bodies and the words in your screenshots. One search box for all of it.
2. 02 **As many folders as you like.** One save can sit in Paid social, Q3 launch and Steal this at the same time, across spaces. Tags on top.
3. 03 **Its colours.** Pulled out of anything with a picture, so you can filter your whole library by one swatch.
4. 04 **A note.** Why you saved it. Future you will want to know.
5. 05 **A way out.** Everything exports, files included, in formats other apps can read.
6. 06 **No AI.** No summaries, no auto-tags. Just plain old parsing.
