Because 150 is enough to know if Savepad sticks for you, and running it isn't free for us. Links, notes, and code cost next to nothing to keep, so Free gets those, plus images up to 500 KB, which is sized for screenshots. PDFs, fonts, audio, and video files cost real money to store, so they're on Light and up, along with rules, custom properties, and public pages.
New saves stop, nothing else does. Everything you saved stays, searchable and exportable. Empty the bin to make room, or go Light and forget about the number.
No. YouTube, Vimeo, and Loom links are links, on every plan, Free included. They host the video, we keep the link, the title, the thumbnail, and the captions they publish. Only uploading a video file of your own is Light and Ultra Pro Max Plus.
Light is the whole swipe file. Ultra Pro Max Plus keeps an eye on other people's: page history on 100 pages, and link checks every week instead of every month. Plus 25 GB, 2 GB of uploads a month and longer videos. If you mostly save links and screenshots, Light is plenty. Honestly.
Watch a page and Savepad takes a fresh full-page snapshot of it every month. When something changed, it keeps the new version, for two years. Their pricing page in March next to their pricing page in September. You can watch 100 pages on Ultra Pro Max Plus and snap one by hand once a day.
So one person dropping 40 GB of raw footage on day one doesn't make it more expensive for everybody else. Your first 30 days on Savepad get more (2 GB on Light, 5 GB on Ultra Pro Max Plus), so bring the old swipe file over. After that it's 1 GB a month on Light and 2 GB on Ultra Pro Max Plus. Deleting a file doesn't give the month back.

Yep, on every plan. You run the MCP server yourself and point it at your library, so it costs us nothing to give it to everyone. Savepad itself never calls a model.
Nothing gets deleted. On Free you see your newest 150 saves that fit Free, so no uploaded videos or big files, and the rest waits in storage. Upgrade again and it's all back where you left it.
No. Savepad is your swipe file. Send the team a private link, or make a space or folder public on Light and up. Are we leaving money on the table with that? Probably.
