Because 150 is enough to know if Savepad sticks for you, and running it isn't free for us. Links, notes and code cost next to nothing to keep, so Free gets those, plus images up to 500 KB, which is sized for screenshots. Big images, audio and video files cost real money to store, so they're on Lite and Pro.
New saves stop, nothing else does. Everything you saved stays, searchable and exportable. Empty the bin to make room, or go Lite and forget about the number.
No. YouTube, Vimeo and Loom links are links, on every plan, Free included. They host the video, we keep the link, the title, the thumbnail and the captions they publish. Only uploading a video file of your own is Lite and Pro.
Lite is the whole swipe file. Pro keeps an eye on other people's: page history on 100 pages and a weekly check on every link you saved. Plus 50 GB, 2 GB of uploads a month and longer videos. If you mostly save links and screenshots, Lite is plenty. Honestly.
Watch a page and Savepad takes a fresh full-page snapshot of it every month. When something changed, it keeps the new version, for two years. Their pricing page in March next to their pricing page in September. You can watch 100 pages on Pro and snap one by hand once a day.
So one person dropping 40 GB of raw footage on day one doesn't make it more expensive for everybody else. Your first 30 days on a plan have no monthly cap, so bring the whole old swipe file over. After that it's 1 GB a month on Lite and 2 GB on Pro. Deleting a file doesn't give the month back.
Nope. Pay monthly and cancel whenever. If you don't like it, leave. No lock-in, no "save 20%" guilt trip.
Yep, on every plan. You run the MCP server yourself and point it at your library, so it costs us nothing to give it to everyone. Savepad itself never calls a model.
