How long should an email subject line be?
Aim for under about 35 characters if most of your list reads on a phone. Gmail on a phone shows roughly that much.
What is preview text?
The short line an inbox shows after the subject. Most email tools let you set it, and if you don’t, the inbox grabs the first text in your email.
